Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit a Finance & Trade Specialist - in their head office in Northbrook, IL. This individual will report to the Trade Marketing Senior Manager - America.

Job Purpose: The Finance & Trade Specialist will support the Trade Planning Department to enhance the department's overall effectiveness and reporting capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Generate monthly and quarterly accrual files and conduct verification analysis
  2. Work cross-functionally with Sales/Finance/Demand Planning/Audit to ensure the monthly and quarterly accruals generated from Vistex are reasonable.
  3. Provide Monthly Trade Spending Analytics to Sr. Trade Manager - America using SAP/BI, Vistex and Corporate Finance report.
  4. Create/develop and analyze Monthly Trade Spending Reporting and Reconciliation
  5. Communicate spending reports to Barilla Regional Managers on a monthly basis.
  6. Assist in the data gathering and audit activities required by external auditors (KPMG).
  7. Work on Ad hoc projects as directed by the Sr. Trade Manager.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

  • High school degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with SAP-preferred
  • Strong knowledge of V lookup and Pivot Tables.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Recent graduates welcome to apply
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
