Fall 2024 Graduate Software Engineering Co-Op/Intern
LOCATION: Santa Clara, San Jose.
ONSITE/HYBRID: These roles require the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As an intern, you will be part of AMD's next generation of technology innovations. You will work with diverse and talented teams. We are seeing highly motivated Software Engineering interns to join our teams. In this role you will work closely with our software engineers to develop and maintain our software applications. This includes participating in the full software development life cycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
- C/C++ , Python, Perl, Java, Javascript, UML or shell.
PLEASE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Operating systems UNIX/Linux OS.
- Embedded systems, microcontrollers, and CPU architecture.
- Databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Cloud computing platforms, Azure.
- Web development frameworks, Django, Rails, Spring Boot.
- ML and AI.
- Security technologies, OAuth, SSL, or TLS.
- Debugging, BIOS and firmware.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Strong passion for technology and software development.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited US University, master's degree programs.
- Studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or Computer Science.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
