Yield Engineering Project Manager

Job Purpose:

This role will spearhead the yield improvement the facility that makes some of the most complex and mission critical PCBs solutions on the planet. The Yield Engineering Project Manager will report to the plant manager while working closely with the Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to understand the root causes behind the yield detractors and to install lasting corrective actions.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works with quality and IT to make standard and ad hoc yield data available to the whole organization. Drives the automated publication of standard yield metrics for all departments.
• Defines and implements the scrap related data collection required to improve quickly
• Works with all departments to define the yield improvement strategy based on FA and pareto analysis.
• Leads the organization in aggressively eliminating main yield detractors using the 8D methodology. Supports continuous improvement activities using DMAIC or similar methods.
• Be the focal person for best practice sharing with sister PCB sites.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in anengineeringdiscipline, preferably Chemical, Mechanical or MaterialsEngineering.
• A minimum of 8years working experience in a related role.
• Proven track record in solving problems using 8D and continuous improvement via DMAIC.
• Good analytical skills on top of good written and oral communication skills.
• A go getter capable of resolving technical, communication or other barriers that slow down the yield improvement progress

Salary Range(annual): $98,000.00 - $150,000.00
