Job Description

To provide expert acute mental health and chemical dependency services to patients and their family members. The goal of these services is to treat the presenting illness and return the patient to a previous or higher level of functioning within the community.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in one of the mental health professions.

Licensed clinical experience required in: assessment, referral, chemical dependency, cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and short-term treatment.

Experience in an acute psychiatric environment preferred.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

A California license as an LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or LPCC

License eligible to provide clinical supervision to interns (discipline specific).

a. For MFTi and PCCi must have license and two (2) years of recent clinical practice within past five (5) years and complete a six (6) hour supervisor course with certification and complete requiredcertification renewal every two (2) years. (Certification required for supervision in state).

b. For psychology interns, supervisor must be a licensed psychologist.

c. For ASW must complete fifteen (15) hour supervision class with certification of completion required and must be renewed every two (2) years (State requirement).

Salary Range:

$56.52 - $73.64 USD Hourly
