Job Purpose:

Support printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing process and product improvements through finite element analysis (FEA) as a member of the PCB Analysis team. This consists of the original condition review and modeling, FEA, and process enhancement and improvement plan steps. The considerable analysis fields are electrochemical, mechanical and thermal processes, and electromagnetic field of PCB.

Nature of Duties:

• Review the current processes and create models for the FEA.
• Run analysis and identify the causes of the current issues, and demonstrate improvement solutions based on the FEA data.
• Run analysis for new equipment at design phase, and report enhancement and improvement possibilities as well as potential issues.
• Run analysis for new customer design to make or set up parameters and/or a jig for better quality and yield.
• Create database for models and reports.

Education and Experience:

• MS or higher Degree for physics or math.
• The successful candidate must have minimum of 2 years FEA for chemical and/or physical phenomena analysis experiences. (Please indicate these experiences on your resume)
• Chemistry and physics knowledge relating printed circuit board manufacturing and products are preferred.
• The candidate must have good documentation skills and cloud database management.
• The position needs travel to plants to review the processes for model to analysis and report results to the plant.

• The candidate meets ITAR requirements.

Salary Range (annual) : $88,000.00 - $102,000.00
