We are looking to hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a proven record applying cutting-edge techniques to create seemingly magical software features for Health products. We want you to be technically deep, and a strong communicator, who can work effectively with our partner engineering teams. You will help Apple push the boundaries of artificial intelligence to make life-improving Health and Wellness-driven product experiences for billions of customers around the world!

Key Qualifications

  • Experience or strong personal curiosity about building consumer digital health and wellness products
  • Hands-on experience productizing machine learning driven experiences from conception to shipped product
  • Deep knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, or C/C++, with significant experience developing production code for a shipping product
  • Experience with ML model deployment and lifecycle management
  • Experience contributing to an inclusive team culture where everyone can be heard and the best ideas are the ones we pursue


Description

Apple's team building Health products are looking for a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to develop the next generation of software experiences that better understand, anticipate and adapt to customer behaviors and interactions. You will use innovative machine learning techniques to build compelling new features built right into Apple products already beloved by billions of customers around the world. Our teams build AI-driven systems that are responsible for understanding the customer to help them live better, healthier lives. You will help develop privacy-preserving algorithms and software systems that power deeply personal and seemingly magical customer insights and experiences. You will do this while honoring Apple's fiercely-defended stance that privacy is a fundamental human right.

Education & Experience

MS or PhD in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with embedded systems with limited compute and memory


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
