Your Team, Your Impact

The Foundry Director is a key procurement role responsible for defining, implementing, and managing all aspects of current and long-term sourcing strategies to effectively source foundry capacity that meet customer expectations of supply, quality, technology, and cost. It is a director level position, operating in a fast-paced global environment. Including maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and organizes requirements and manages interactions with Suppliers/Partners. Implements comprehensive agreements with suppliers outlining all commercial, capacity, and technical aspects. This position will maintain ownership of supplier contracts, commercial terms and price performance and reports directly to Chief Procurement Officer.

What You Can Expect

  • You will work with foundry suppliers to meet capacity, cycle time, delivery, quality, and cost needs.
  • You will build strong partnership relationship at key foundry partners.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, business units, finance, legal, engineering, and management for escalation issues.
  • You will develop and execute a foundry management strategy to ensure adequate capacity and competitive pricing for the products.
  • You will analyze markets and develop cost reduction and negotiation strategies.
  • You will work closely with Finance team for cost analysis and cost modeling for the products.
  • You will manage supplier performance & conduct QBR including action plans in key areas of Technology, Quality, Service, Delivery, and Cost.
  • You will lead the strategic selection and commercial management of Foundries.
  • You will negotiate and execute all aspects/terms of supplier agreements.
  • You have the ability to handle significant multi-tasking requirements simultaneously and to prioritize on key actions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree mandatory; Master's degree in business preferred. Silicon technical background is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of management or procurement management experience in the semiconductor industry and relevant experience in a sourcing leadership capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences, with a proven ability to bridge views and harmonize across diverse international cultures. Interactions involve special skills, such as negotiating with suppliers, vendors, customers or management or influencing senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

  • Self-Managed/Motivated: the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments and the desire to seek valuable improvements.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

151,480 - 226,900, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
