The Role

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and installations for manufacturing, cleanroom, lab, and facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications (skills/level of knowledge):

    A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required; trade school is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment; chemicals or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus
  • A safety mindset and focus on producing quality products is key for success in this role
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently within a strong team environment
  • MS Office: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

Technical

  • Experience in the installation and repair of piping systems, including Copper, Stainless Steel, PFA, and Cast iron
  • Repair and installation of air diaphragm and centrifugal pumps
  • Experienced forklift and scissors lift operator
  • Electrical systems knowledge (e.g: understanding low voltages, relays, instrumentation)
  • Electrical NFPA 70E training, and instrumentation
  • Capable of working from blueprints or simple sketches
  • Fire systems knowledge/experience is a plus

Project Management

  • Overseeing projects and Contractors

Physical - Requires manual lifting of up to 50 lbs. capable of standing and kneeling for a duration of time.

Pay Range: This is a non-exempt opportunity. Starting wage is $33.45/hr.
