Job Purpose
You will report to the VP of Total Rewards in HQ and work closely with our colleagues in global field HRas well as corporate business groups. Given the importance of the role, you will be highly visible andaccountable to the management team.This role will give you the right set of KSAs (Knowledge / Skill /Ability) that now allow you to build the compensation and analytics tools to enable Sanmina's next phaseof growth. Your manager and colleagues work to enable and support you but demand a constantcommitment to best-in-class results.


Critical skills for this role:

  • A data driven mind-set. This is a highly analytical role so deep-dive analysis and experienced power-user modeling abilities are required.
  • Subject Matter Expert in HR analytics. Be current on the dynamic labor regulatory landscape andpossess the knowledge to identify and take action on compensation and compliance issues.
  • Ability to build conceptually new things. The abilities of "thinking outside of the box" and "seeingdetailed projects thru to the end" are required this role.
  • Calm flexibility. Quick and creative innovation isn't easy. Quick turn executive requests can bestressful. Tight deadlines create pressure. Ability to handle those conditions while continuing to producehigh quality work is acritical skill.


Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages the global compensation programs, from reviewing proposed salary adjustments, resolving compensation-related/market based issues, to special initiatives, studies and recommendations onsubjects such as incentive compensation, sales commission plans or recognition programs.
  • Applies quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify issues, develops hypotheses and recommendssolutions to total rewards programs and processes.
  • Designs and develops dashboards and analytic tools to provide Sanmina business insights and educatesfield HR to become a true business partner.
  • Formulates recommendations regarding management/development of company salary structure, FLSAexemptions, job revisions and organizational structures. Review existing and proposed statutoryrequirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.
  • Performs activities to develop, implement and administer compensation plans, policies and programs(e.g. focal review process, quarterly/annual incentive plan process, etc.).
  • Partner with the business to ensure complete understanding of business processes and legal/regulatoryrequirements and risks in their respective areas of responsibility.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of Compensation roles, with at least 3-5 years managing a team
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills (solid experience in Excel for data analysis and visualization)
  • Some programming experience and reporting/BI experience: Python, SQL, Microsoft BI, Tableau
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a continuously-changing environment and span multiple projects
  • A bachelor's degree with a focus in finance/business management, Human Resources, or
  • mathematics/statistics
  • MBA or equivalent master's degree a strong plus

Salary Range(annual): $120,000 - $170,000
