Description
A Quality Control Inspector job in San Jose, CA is available through Acara Solutions.
Qualified candidates will have 5 years of soldering experience in Quality within a PCBA and
Mechanical EMS environment. The candidate will have extensive experience determining IPC acceptability
standards inspection and read MPIs. The candidate will be skilled in using micrometers (DMM), microscopes, and optical test equipment. The pay range for this role is $22.00-26.00 p/hr. DOE.
Job Requirements
BASIC/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of working experience soldering in Quality Control with a PCBA background
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality inspector in a PCBA and Mechanical EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Environment
- Ability to read assembly drawings and Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs)
- Experienced in inspecting and determining acceptability per IPC and customer requirements
- Experience with component verification and measurement
- Experience using micrometers (DMM), microscopes, and optical test equipment
- Must have experience in feeder verification, component ID, verification of polarity, solder joint inspection, missing parts, part value verification using a digital meter, etc.
- Strong, effective organizational skills required; detail oriented; ability to multitask
- Responsibilities
- The QC Inspector is responsible for verifying compliance of in-process and or finished assemblies with drawing requirements based on customer and industry standards
- Will be inspecting Printed Circuit Boards
- Assure all products meet the requirements of IPC-A-610, customer specifications, and Industry specifications as required
- Performs both detail and assembly-level inspections with appropriate supporting documentation verifying actual results against drawing/MPI and or specification requirements, including formal First Article Reports
- Perform Incoming materials inspection to ensure compliance with customer, supplier, and industry specifications
- Must pass skills test at an Onsite Interview
- We have DAY, Swing, and GRAVEYARD Shifts available
- Available Shifts:
- Swing Shift: 2:30 pm-10:30/11:30 pm
