Position: Director- IT MARKETING AUTOMATION

Location: Remote within United States

We are seeking a dynamic Director of IT Marketing Automation who will serve as a pivotal leader in driving our marketing automation strategies forward. This role will report to the VP of IT Business Applications within the IT - CIO organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in marketing automation technologies, business engagement, leadership, and team building. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a proactive problem solver, and an exceptional communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with marketing operations for the development and execution of innovative marketing automation strategies. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our automation capabilities.
  • Business Engagement Leadership: Act as a bridge between marketing and IT, fostering strong partnerships and alignment to drive business goals. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities for automation, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Building and Development:Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of marketing automation professionals. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enable team members to reach their full potential.
  • Strategic Roadmap Definition: Partner with marketing leadership to define a comprehensive roadmap for marketing automation initiatives. Identify key objectives, milestones, and success metrics to guide the implementation and evolution of our automation capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing automation processes with overall business operations. Champion a collaborative and cross-functional approach to achieving organizational objectives.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the performance and impact of marketing automation initiatives. Analyze data, gather insights, and iterate on strategies to continually improve outcomes and drive ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in a leadership role overseeing marketing automation initiatives, with a track record of driving results and delivering business value.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and related technologies, with the ability to architect and implement complex automation workflows.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the intersection of marketing automation with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences, including executives, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$204,000$220,000 USD
