Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Management to lead the development and growth of our Deception and ITDR (Incident Detection and Response) product offerings. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in the cybersecurity and security operations domain, with a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market and driving their adoption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our Deception and ITDR product portfolio, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to define product requirements, prioritize feature development, and ensure successful product launches.
- Develop and manage product pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies that maximize revenue and market share.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to gather feedback, validate product strategy, and drive customer success.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- This role is for San Jose, CA and not remote.
- MBA and Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in product management, with a focus on Deception products.
- Experience working in a platform company where you have built/grown an adjacent product line 3-5x is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of deception technology, incident detection and response, and related security technologies.
- Deep understanding of InfoSec and GRC teams in large organizations is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of Proxies, Firewall, ZTNA based security stack is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure product success.
