Position Summary:

Level one maskers, under direct supervision, perform simple masking of required part features with appropriate masking materials (such as tapes, paper and plugs) to protect the areas from processing. Insuring and validating part cleanliness, damage free surfaces, and part configurations are some of the essential functions a level one masker will be required to perform. Other responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as adherence to organization safety rules and regulations. Typically 0-1 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Masks parts as required with various materials
  • Attention to detail on masking
  • Completes routing paperwork accurately
  • Helps rack and prep parts for painting
  • Capable of reading blueprints for identifying areas for masking
  • General housekeeping of painting area

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use. Applicant should be familiar with Microsoft Office.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of at least 6 months experience in industry or related field.

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.50 to $23.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
