The Opportunity:
As Picarro's Senior Manager, FP&A, you will report to the Sr. Director, FP&A.
You will lead financial planning and analytics for Business Units.
You are a strong partner experienced in financial planning and will be able to work collaboratively across business functions.
You will also be responsible for accurate forecasting, analyzing,
and reporting of the financial performance of the group as well as possible risks and investments.
Responsibilities:
Provide Leadership and Manage the Finance Planning Function for your portion of the business.
  • Manage the annual and quarterly financial planning processes to develop accurate financial plans which support achievement of the business strategy.
  • Manage the overall budgeting and forecasting process for the Business Units, including hiring justification and other expenses.
  • Manage your group's forecasting process through creation of detailed revenue, cost of goods sold, and commission spend models.
  • Establish, track, analyze, and present key financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain financial and operational reporting for the Business Unit.
  • Develop models that support operational decision-making, financial tactics, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Interpret, develop, implement, and monitor finance related processes and procedures.
  • Drive continual process improvements leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale processes.
  • Provide recommendations and advice on finance related issues and business transactions.
  • Retain constant awareness of the Business Units' financial position and act to prevent problems.
Requirements:
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in efficiently designing and maintaining complex models is mandatory.
  • Well-developed analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter, highly proactive with strong ability to work with minimal guidance and direction.
  • Ability to critically analyze results at a high level.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written verbal communication skills; ability to summarize and convey key information in an effective manner to wide range of audience.
  • Solid knowledge of financial fundamentals and financial systems / processes.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail when necessary.
  • A strong leader and team player who can proactively build relationships and work closely with peers across various departments and interact directly with senior management.
  • NetSuite and Adaptive experience.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and dashboarding tools.
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Nice to have:
  • Enterprise or similar long sales cycle transactions forecasting
  • Three financial statement modeling experience
  • Experience scaling smaller organizations
  • Familiarity with SaaS based metrics
Salary & Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000. Your base salary and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of employees in similar positions.
