We are looking for an architect who is highly-focused on the quality of their software, and who can work in a fast paced environment at the cutting-edge of WAN edge & Cloud networking. What you will be doing
- Interfacing with the product management team to scope and design features
- Writing highly scalable, production ready code
- Understanding and replicating complex customer topologies for dev testing
- Interfacing with QE and ensuring the scope of QE testing is meets requirements
Required skills and experience
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including product development, test and automation
- Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking concepts, routing protocols, VPN, IPSec and WAN architecture
- C++/Golang are the primary languages of choice; strong expertise required
- Experience building and working with scalable cloud native multi-tenant architectures
- Familiarity with one of the major server virtualization products (ESXi, KVM) & IaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with functional test tools, packet crafting/replaying and security test tools
- System/server side experience for troubleshooting and strong knowledge of Linux
- Familiarity with source code systems like Github
- Experience being part of the escalation layer for customer issues
- Knowledge of userland packet forwarding architectures is a must
- High performance DMA packet I/O e.g. DPDK/Netmap are a big plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.

- A good understanding of Python

- BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
