Job Description

General Summary

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing construction operations with the tools and equipment needed to build our construction projects, while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities, and business objectives.

Essential Accountabilities

  1. Comply, understand, and promote Graniterock safety initiatives to ensure 'Safety Before All Else."
  2. Work in alignment with Graniterock Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values and Objectives and support "One Company" principles.
  3. Clean, maintain and inventory small tools and supplies.
  4. Check tools in and out and assist with pickup and delivery of small tools as needed.
  5. Maintain small tools storage area, inventory all items returned to yard from jobsites.
  6. Check out towable items; maintenance and inventory tools assigned to towable equipment.
  7. Maintain Mapistry logs and inspections.

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months supplies/tool inventory and ordering experience.
  • Experience working with construction tools preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to work in various computer software programs (Excel and Word)
    • Knowledge of Construction Jobs, equipment and needs.
    • MUST be able to work overtime, including early starting times and Saturdays.
    • Ability to operate a forklift and lift over 50 lbs.
    • Must have a valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record

    This position has been identified as a "safety sensitive" role and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing, per the Graniterock Substance Abuse policy.
