Responsibilities

What are your responsibilities?

* Coordinate and schedule clinical placements for over 100 practical nursing students.
* Maintain communication with clinical affiliates through newsletters to relay crucial clinical information.
* Ensure students meet clinical objectives and verify their progress regularly.
* Collaborate with the Program Director to enhance the clinical laboratory's equipment and supplies.
* Assist in new clinical affiliate acquisition and preceptor orientation.
* Document site visits and conduct audits to maintain quality standards.
* Provide problem-solving support for students during clinic hours.
* Engage in ongoing training, classroom instruction, and assessment activities.
* Participate in advisory board meetings, showcasing your dedication to program excellence.

Qualifications

What will you need?

* Must hold an active and unencumbered RN or LVN license in the state of employment.
* Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in the last 5 years.
* Must have one of the following:
o Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school; Masters preferred.
o Valid teaching credentials in California.
o 1 Year of full-time teaching in a state accredited or approved RN or LVN program.
o Meet the teaching requirements in California for community colleges and state universities.
* Must meet approval of the Board of Nursing to hold the position.
* Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
* Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.

Compensation: $90k-$100k/annually (Based on education/experience)
