The Rental Consultant serves as the main point of contact for customerssuch as students, professionals, families,athletes, real estate agents,or home stagerswho arerelocatingor have temporary furniture needs.This roleutilizescustomer service, administrative,andsalesskillsto consult with customers and enter orders.

This is a full-time, onsite position, performed from the CORT office.

Pay: $23 - $26 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Standard is Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with customersprimarilyvia phoneandemail,andoccasionallyin-persontodeterminetheir budget,stylepreferences,timeline, and overallrentalneedsand then match them with CORT's products and services
  • Utilize computer programs to prepareproposals or designs,furnitureleaseagreements,schedule deliveries, and complete sales
  • Work with operations, administration, and customersto ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Utilize professional sales skills to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Develop andmaintainrelationships with customers to encourage repeat business oradditionalrevenue opportunities

Qualifications

  • Consulting, customer service, and/or sales experience (inside or outside)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Multitask well and are adaptable to change in afast-pacedrole
  • Have experience engaging successfully with many types of clients
  • Prior experience in multi-housing,retail,hospitality,home staging, or furnituresales(notrequired, but a plus)
