The Real Estate, Design, and Merchandising (RDM) Team creates and cares for Apple Stores that look, feel, and function as beautifully as our products. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a Global Real Estate, Design, and Merchandising strategy that sets the bar. The RDM Operations Team is a shared service across Real Estate, Design, and Merchandising to support strategy development, reporting, program management, data, and tool development and maintenance. We are looking for a Strategic Operations Analyst to develop long- and short-term strategic projects and analyses, identify and analyze new opportunities, drive business insights (internal and external), program manage cross-functional strategic projects, and contribute to key deliverables regarding Apple's investments for the Retail Leadership Team. Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in strategy, finance, or business development role in a Retail or Real Estate-centric environment; or 3+ years related experience with a strategy consulting firm or investment bank
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience in collecting, analyzing, and tracking key business data
  • Relentless focus on details, accuracy, and quality
  • Exceptional influencer that knows how to connect the dots at the project, team, and organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with confidence and poise presenting to management
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload, while demonstrating Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities


Description

Responsible for key ongoing retail fleet analyses, including researching and analyzing retail industries, technology segments, and business models, and evaluating the merits of complex alternatives Craft compelling stories, supported by data, that bring strategies to life Work cross-functionally to incubate ideas and develop strategies that influence the future direction of Apple's Retail investments Support development of key internal communications and presentations including RDM All Team Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Meetings, and Board of Directors Manage SVP level approval meetings, supporting the development of the agenda and materials and working cross-functionally to assemble approval materials for CEO and CFO Project manage special strategic initiatives for the RDM team and develop business insights and recommendations Contribute to an inclusive environment through respecting each other's differences and having the curiosity to learn

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and Keynote and/or Powerpoint


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $105,200.00 and $158,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
