POSITION SUMMARY
Location: St Thomas, Virgin Islands, United States
Quality Control Inspector -- Part Time (Approximately 40 hours per month)
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and provide supplementary contract performance monitoring.
- Report to the Contract Manager and participate with management in the standard application of quality system processes while serving as impartial observers in matters of testing, evaluating, and recommending corrective action and new initiatives.
- Will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and upgrading the contract quality control plan and is responsible for ensuring the work force complies with contract requirements.
- Serve as a member of the quality control team and assists with overall quality and standards conformance in accordance with the SOW
Qualifications
- Must be a United States citizen; or Lawful permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possess a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component of the United States Armed Forces
- Must have been issued a social security card
- Must have verifiable documentation of a least one experience level and at least one educational level or any reasonable combination listed a minimum of two (2) years of security (armed) or law enforcement experience; or minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any U.S. Armed Forces Component.
- High School Diploma from an accredited learning institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or received a General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited learning institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must be able to pass an English Language Assessment Test.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background screening
- Experience with project development and implementation in the area of quality control and inspections
- Experience in management and control of resources using complex reporting mechanisms.
- Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task of various types and complexity.
- Must be eligible to be cleared to the DHS Suitability level
- Ability to plan projects, meet objectives, and develop contingencies
