What You Can Expect


In this role, you will be responsible for leading a cross functional team to manage existing and new products, and win business. We are looking for someone who has close working relationships with our key customers, who can understand the technical and business needs customer faces and who can drive the team to execute.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead product business planning activities including: market/technology trends, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), key customers to win, competitive analysis, revenue, product positioning and pricing.

  • Define coherent DSP strategy and evolution.

  • Drive design wins with sales which meet annual and long-term revenue goals.

  • Establish relationships at key accounts and partners.

  • Development and execution of objectives with key Standards and MSAs affecting coherent transceiver products.

  • Ensure sales, engineering and cross-functional teams are all in-sync to execute what is needed to win key designs.

  • Drive outbound marketing activities including product promotions, industry events, trade shows, customer/partner press announcements, product launches, website updates.

  • Manage the opportunity funnel across data center, ecosystem partners and work closely with Sales to achieve design wins.

  • Gain in-depth understanding of customer applications and competitor solutions to define Marvell product roadmap and ensure products are compelling and differentiated.

  • Own development of comprehensive customer facing tools including customer presentations, white papers, solutions briefs and competitive positioning.

What We're Looking For

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related) required, advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of relevant optics and/or semiconductor experience with background in Cloud datacenter / AI / Telco markets.

  • Solid understanding of coherent optical DSPs and related optical component technologies.

  • Experience in defining and marketing products, developing MRDs.

  • Proven ability to analyze new market segments and identify new opportunities.

  • Background in TAM/SAM analysis, building business cases.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at all levels, including internal and external executives.

  • Cross-functional leadership skills, highly motivated, self-driven.

  • Proven ability to work efficiently with Engineering and Sales organizations.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

159,400 - 238,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
