Your role and responsibilitiesEstablish an inventory control system that will provide the necessary availability of spare parts and procurement of special purchases to maintain asset reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
Set up and continuously improve critical spare parts inventory including but not limited to: Developing minimum and maximum stocking levels for MRO parts based on lead times and where used to ensure inventory levels on critical items are adequate
Process stock orders in SAP to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained
Physically procure items from local vendors via phone calls and in person travel when situations require it
Stock received inventory into appropriate locations and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure data integrity while reporting and investigating stockouts daily
Plan and schedule maintenance PMs (Preventive Maintenances), safety work orders and routine maintenance work orders daily
Ensure we are meeting PM compliance by scheduling work on time and working cross functionally with appropriate team members
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and report department metrics v/s department goals and prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by leadership team in a timely manner
