Sr. Associate, Equity & Special Compensation

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage Special Compensation process for Cash Retention, Special Cash, and special equity awards from submission to payment / issuance

  • Collaborate with accounting on monthly accrual report for retention awards

  • Lead special equity process by creating educational resources and managing the nominations in Salesforce

  • Coordinate Special Compensation process improvements - work with HR tech teams in Salesforce and Workday

  • Ensure that month-end, quarter-end, and annual processes are completed accurately and by appropriate deadlines

  • Lead and manage routine Equity processes, including participation in related short term and long term efforts to streamline current processes

  • Support various system testing by building requirements, completing testing steps, validation, and implementation of new policies/processes.

  • Key point of contact in the relationship and partnering with third-party stock administration vendor

  • Partner with Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Accounting teams on the management of all equity compensation programs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in compensation, finance, accounting, analytics, tax, or payroll

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources

  • Equity Compensation Associate (ECA)

  • At least 2 years of experience in Compensation

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry

  • Knowledge of human resources and compensation including knowledge of relevant Federal, State, Local laws/regulations relating to compensation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • Ability to consistently deliver thorough, timely, and accurate work
