CLA is currently seeking an Onboarding and Orientation Coordinator (Impact/People Coordinator) to join our team in the Minneapolis, MN, office. This pivotal role works as part of an integrated team to provide talent acquisition, career coaching, learning development and local office support. The Impact/People Coordinator will provide timely and courteous service to clients and firm personnel with an ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain flexibility. Understanding and anticipating needs and delivering quality service will guarantee success.

How you'll create opportunities in this Impact/People Coordinator role:

  • Talent Acquisition: Coordinate campus talent acquisition efforts between the office, local campus teams, and/or region and People Solutions Team, including leading efforts of local office events and onboarding/orientation of new hires. Coordinate and schedule all interviews and office visits.
  • Talent Management: Support Coaching Champion efforts to advance coaching and career growth in the office and/or region. Act as coaching resource for team regarding process flow, mechanics, and resources.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate in-person learning sessions, webcasts, and virtual learning conferences, registrations, conference room set-up, catering, and technology setup. Promote learning communications locally and have a direct link with the Learning & Development team to provide feedback and input on local office learning needs.
  • Information Technology: Assist IT staff with imaging PCs, preparing computer equipment for new hires, ongoing equipment orders for the office, and scheduling repairs as needed.
  • CLA Culture: Coordinate all on-site/off-site employee relations events. Proactively recommend retention strategies (such as employee appreciation, office perks, communication strategies or performance evaluation processes) to office leadership and applicable career coaches.
  • Office Concierge: Coordinate any office location issues for team members, including set-ups and IT issues thereafter. Oversee facilitates/conference room management/scheduling by Internal Operations Coordinator(s). Acts as office safety coordinator.
  • Internal Operations Team: May have accountabilities across other internal operations roles or across multiple offices within a region such as: Tax/Financial, statement processing, proposal writing, processing invoices
    .

What you will need:

  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office Products is necessary.
  • Regular use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, CRM, Adobe, and other internal systems.
  • Requires ability to quickly master new software applications as needed.
  • Proficiency in Workday is preferred
