Estimator/Scheduler

McKissack & McKissack, specializing in architecture & interiors, program & construction management, planning & facilities management, environmental engineering and transportation, has an immediate opening for an Estimator in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, interested in personal growth, who wants to be a member of our growing team and who meets the following qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the building design and construction industry or 15 years experience without a Degree.
• Excellent estimatng skills, where esimating will be the primary role of this position.
• Excellent sheduling skills, where scheduling will be the secondary role of this positon.
• Hands on experience with estimating and scheduling software.
• Ability to analyze cost information and earned value.
• Ability to quickly master new software systems, especially in the areas of project estimating.
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a cooperative and effective manner with the owner, contractors and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong computer skills. 
• Strong interpersonal skills.
