POSITION REQUIREMENTS

To provide care across the continuum of acute care services to Acute Care Surgery patients who are acutely and critically ill through clinical expertise and continuity of care on an ongoing basis. The overall goal is providing quality and optimal patient/family care. The Physician Assistant collaborates with the Trauma and General Surgeons as well as other disciplines to organize care delivery and to facilitate the flow of the patient through the system. Provides input in the development of standardized procedures and protocols and assists the Trauma Program Director to meet departmental goals and objectives. ACLS, BLS, PALS required. Acute Care experience required; trauma experience preferred
